Switching your website starts with a plan
Keep the reputation you’ve built and move to a site that shows it. We plan the move with you before anything changes.
Know what you have before you move
We start with your current website: what you want to improve and what’s worth keeping. We look at your domain, content, listing records, inquiry forms, and the tools you use now, and build the plan from that.
If you have an agreement with another provider, check its renewal date, its notice requirements, and what you can take with you. We plan around the access and materials you have.
How the switch works
Review your site and priorities
We look at what works on your current site, what’s out of date, and what your new site needs to do. We confirm scope and timing before we build.
Gather your materials
We collect your bio, photography, reviews, listings, and past sales. We confirm which materials you own or have permission to reuse.
Build and review
We build your new site separately while your current site stays live. You review the design, content, property pages, and contact paths before launch.
Move the domain and go live
We plan the domain change, check your email setup, and redirect important old URLs to their new pages where needed. We test forms and key pages as the new site goes live.
Keep it current
After launch, your monthly service covers listing updates, edits to existing pages, hosting, and the content and reporting included in your package.
What to bring to the first call
Your website address, your provider’s renewal date, and a short list of what bothers you about your current site. That’s enough to start. We’ll work out which domain, hosting, and content access we need as we plan the move.
Keep your current service active until the new site is ready. During onboarding, you share account access with us through a secure method we agree on.
Common questions about switching
Can I keep my domain?
Usually, yes, if you control it or can get it released to you. We check who holds the domain and how it’s managed before we schedule the move.
Can you use my existing content?
We can reuse anything you own or have permission to use. Designs owned by your provider, licensed photography, and content exports each need to be checked.
What happens to my email?
We check your email as part of the move. We find out who your email provider is and which settings it depends on before we change anything on your domain.
Will my Google rankings stay the same?
No provider can guarantee your rankings won’t change. We review your existing URLs, keep useful content where it makes sense, and set up redirects for pages that move. Search visibility can go up and down for a while after a rebuild.
What happens to IDX and my CRM?
Our packages are built around your listings and past sales. Market-wide IDX search is not part of the base package. Your current CRM connections, saved searches, and property alerts need a separate review, and we don’t assume they will transfer.
How long will it take?
It depends on the agreed scope, how ready your content is, access to your accounts, and your current provider’s requirements. We confirm a schedule once we’ve reviewed those.
Do I own the new site?
Yes. You own your site code, content, and domain. The service agreement runs for one year, then month to month. Owning the site does not cancel your payments during that first year.
